Best of Quail Hollow's views, sounds, and memories from the 2022 Presidents Cup

The Presidents Cup has resumed play after a three-year break.

In a contest between the top golfers, the United States team will take on the International squad. The United States currently enjoys a significant advantage thanks to players like world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, No. 4 Patrick Cantlay, No. 5 Xander Schauffele, No. 7 Justin Thomas, and No. 9 Collin Morikawa.

After several players, including world No. 2 Cameron Smith, switched to LIV Golf, international team captain Trevor Immelman was forced to scramble. In spite of this, athletes like No. 17 Hideki Matsuyama, No. 19 Sungjae Im, No. 22 Joohyung "Tom" Kim, No. 26 Corey Conners, and No. 30 Adam Scott aren't exactly slouches.

Despite unquestionably strong competition, the Presidents Cup is a charitable event. As a result, we may anticipate a somewhat more relaxed atmosphere than, for example, on a Masters Sunday at Augusta National.

As they start their round on Thursday at Charlotte, North Carolina's Quail Hollow Club, these are a few of the most entertaining moments we've seen:

a little good fortune
This Max Homa shot would have landed in the water if only by an inch. As an alternative, it impacted the nearest rock. Tony Finau and Homa were able to get a par out of it.
