Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester City, Celtic, and Rangers are all in the Champions League.

As we enter matchday five, here's how Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham can advance to the Champions League knockout stages...

Liverpool will advance to the round of 16 if they avoid defeat against Ajax on Wednesday.

Rangers will not make the knockout stages but can still finish third and qualify for the Europa League if they lose at leaders Napoli and Ajax do not beat Liverpool, or if Rangers draw and Ajax win.

Tottenham leads Group D and will advance to the round of 16 if they defeat Sporting Lisbon at home on Wednesday. If they win and Marseille loses at Eintracht Frankfurt, they will be declared group winners.

Man City have already qualified for the knockout stages and have a chance to win the group if they avoid defeat against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

Chelsea lead Group E, and if they win at Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday, Graham Potter's side will advance to the round of 16.

The Blues can also qualify if they draw and AC Milan win at Dinamo Zagreb, whereas Chelsea will be declared group winners if they win and Dinamo Zagreb does not.

Celtic will not advance to the round of 16, but if they win at home against Shakhtar Donetsk, they will remain in contention for third place and the Europa League.
